Event Details

The Children’s Arts Festival takes place in the heart of City Centre at the Richmond Cultural Centre and Richmond Public Library. Enjoy a vibrant, colorful atmosphere with interactive workshops, activities and events tailored for children ages 2 to 18.

DATE: BC Family Day on Monday, February 16, 2026

EVENT HOURS: 10:00am-5:00pm

ADMISSION: General Admission is FREE

LOCATION: Richmond Cultural Centre and Cultural Centre Annex, 7700 Minoru Gate, Richmond BC

ACCESSIBILITY: The Children’s Arts Festival site is fully accessible. Accessible parking is located in the lot behind the Richmond Cultural Centre Annex (enter off of Granville Avenue). Accessible washrooms are available at the Richmond Cultural Centre and every bank of portable toilets provided on site includes at least one accessible toilet.

Getting Here

ON BIKE:
The Richmond Cultural Centre is located along Granville Avenue which has a dedicated bicycle lane for nearly its entire length. Safely and securely store your bicycle at the festival using one of the many bike racks.

TAKE THE SKYTRAIN:
Take the Canada Line and disembark at the Richmond-Brighouse station. Cross the street, walk through Richmond Centre, and across Minoru Boulevard.

ON THE BUS:
You can take any bus which drops you off at the Richmond Centre stop (402, 403, 404, C94) and walk to the festival in 5 minutes.

DRIVE YOUR CAR:
We recommend public transit as parking is limited.
If you are planning on driving please try to carpool as parking gets crowded.  You can park at Richmond City Hall, and along the adjacent neighbourhood streets.
